My name is Melissa and Smallhall cards is based in the sunny town of Rye in East Sussex.

With a graphic design qualification from Norwich School of Art I began making cards to send to friends and family as I was always unable to find a suitable card in the shops (and sick of paying ridiculous money for them!).

I now sell via the web, at craft fairs and in shops and I enjoy chatting to anyone who will listen about my passion for cardmaking.

All Smallhall cards are created using original elements wherever this is possible. This enables me to use my artistic skills to the maximum and creates a unique and original design. Every element is placed on the card with careful consideration to the layout, colours involved and overall appeal. Only the finest embellishments, cardstock, glue, coloured envelopes and cellophane bags are used as I do not believe in compromising the quality of my cards just to save money.

Just purchasing a hand-made or personalised card lets the receiver know that you have spent a little more time and effort just to show how much you care. In the same way, I spend that little bit more time and effort that will leave you knowing you have made the right card choice and make you smile.
